    Primary Job Purpose:
    Assist with all warehouse functions, while maintaining company safety standards

    Duties:
    Load, unload, and stack tires using hand dollies
    Keep the warehouse, area between bay doors, and fence area organized, with tires stacked by size and brand
    Drive forklift, and maintain current forklift operator’s license
    Keep service bays free of tires and clutter, sorting tires into used, casing, or junk. Load all unusable tires into junk trailer
    Sweep warehouse floors daily/as needed
    Organize tube area by product code and size
    Put away and pull products as required
    Report any inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager
    Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing all Personal Protective Equipment as required for position, reporting all Near Misses, and reporting all incidents & filing appropriate paperwork in required time frames.

    Minimum Job Requirements

    Retread Technician - Fargo, ND

    Job Duties-Once applicable based on training
      1. Assist in the “chamber process” when needed
      2. Initial Inspection
        1. Inspect all tires according to Bandag PSMR
        2. Ensure all work orders are complete and all pertinent information is included
        3. Reject NRT’s according to Bandag RAR codes
      3. Buffing
        1. Buff all tires according to Bandag PSMR
        2. Ensure all tires have the correct tread size clearly marked
        3. Reject NRT’s according to Bandag RAR codes
      4. Skiving
        1. Skive all tires according to Bandag PSMR
        2. “Paint” all tires that are unable to be extruded on Friday afternoons
        3. Skive tires according customer specific requirements if more stringent than Bandag PSMR
        4. Reject NRT’s according to Bandag RAR codes
      5. Repair
        1. Repair all tires according to Bandag PSMR
        2. Ensure that repair value does not exceed 50% of casing value on “house” casings
        3. Ensure that repair value does not exceed 100% of casing value on all Watford City or Minot casings
        4. Repair tires according to customer specific requirements if more stringent than Bandag PSMR
        5. Ensure that all Fleet accounts repair requirements are met
        6. Reject NRT’s according to Bandag RAR codes
      6. Extruder
        1. Fill in all tires according to Bandag PSMR
        2. Ensure that all sidewall spots are filled in and done correctly so as not to make more work for others
      1. Building
        1. Apply new tread to tires according to Bandag PSMR
        2. Ensure that all tread splices are aligned
        3. Mark all “long-cure” treads with a flag so they can be saved for the final chambers of the day
        4. Ensure that a 36inch minimum bench splice is used with all BDR-UWB, BTR-UWB, and BRR-UWB treads
      2. Bagging
        1. Ensure that all tires receive the correct size envelope
        2. Mark all repairs on envelopes so they can be repaired
        3. Remove all staples from the wicks and pads and return to Builders
        4. Pull rubber rolls for the Builders
      3. Mounting
        1. Install the arc-rings in the tires according to Bandag PSMR
        2. Ensure that all arc-rings are in good working order
        3. Ensure that all arc-rings are tightened according to the go-no go gauge
        4. Empty and Reload the chambers according to the curing schedule
        5. Vacuum all envelopes to ensure there are no holes and that pressure is maintained prior to being loaded in the chamber
        6. Mark all repairs on envelopes so they can be repaired
      4. Final Inspection
        1. Inspect all tires according to Bandag PSMR
        2. Buff off all sidewall spots and bead repairs to ensure correct sealing of bead on the wheel
        3. Ensure that all tires are stacked up according to location and that all tires are recorded on the “check off” sheet
        4. Bill out all work orders prior to loading of the trucks to ensure correct count
        5. Clean out the tire painter on a daily basis
      5. All stations are to be cleaned and swept daily
      6. All employees are required to help put away rubber when available and all rubber is to be put away by the close of the last business day of the week
      7. All employees are required to stack tires to meet requirements

    Tire Tech - Fargo, ND

    To deliver superior care and service to customer vehicles and needs. Tire Technicians are responsible for, tire repair, installation, rotation, balancing, and tire evaluation. This position balances a high level of attention to detail with a customer service focus, as tire technicians need to closely examine tires for signs of wear and failure.

    Duties:
    Complete full shakedowns and use shop scan tool to diagnose vehicle issues
    Set vehicles on hoists and identify worn/failed parts and drivability issues with all vehicles
    Complete oil changes/ grease jobs
    Inspect brakes for worn pads/rotors, and shocks/struts for leaks/damage
    Perform basic electrical troubleshooting – lighting, trailer harness, and other basic circuits

    Duties:
    Repair and balance tires
    Rotate, balance, mount, and dismount new and used tires
    Perform courtesy vehicle inspections
    Torque lug nuts to manufacturers’ specifications
    Check and set tire air pressures & tire pressure monitor sensors (TPMS)
    Help customers load and unload tires
    Perform light duty mechanical work if needed

    Primary Job Purpose:

    Manage the warehouse staff and drivers to ensure daily duties are completed and proper conduct is maintained.

    Duties:

    • Address any inefficiencies, mistakes, or concerns in day to day tasks
    • Develop, manage, and improve warehouse operation processes and procedures
      • Review current internal warehouse paperwork and processes
      • Make recommendations on most accurate and efficient practices
      • Document and keep up to date all process and procedure documents
      • Work with Operations to determine distribution facility needs
      • Aid Operations in the development and implementation of facility capital projects
    • Accomplish warehouse staffing objectives by training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions; and recommending compensation actions. This role will also handle related documentation of these areas
    • Conduct bi-annual physical inventory counts, reconcile variances, and input data
    • Ensure warehouse is clean, neat, and free of safety hazards
    • Secure warehouse by ensuring that gates are locked, cameras have a clear view of property, and that inventory is secured; replace any related equipment as necessary

    This position tends to work a normal Monday – Friday, 7am – 5:30pm, however may be required to stay late or come early to meet customer demands during peak season. Job may involve travel to various locations, and some overnight stays could be required where cost effective and necessary.
